Octa Elevators supplies, installs and maintains lifts from offices in Bareilly and Haldwani. Octa One brings their sales, installations, maintenance contracts, breakdowns, staff and billing into one place, with a phone app for the technicians on site.

The problem
A lift company runs on many small jobs: an enquiry to price, a site to survey, a quotation to send, an installation with a dozen stages, then a monthly maintenance visit for years, and a breakdown call that cannot wait.
At Octa these lived in phone calls, WhatsApp chats, Excel sheets and paper registers. Nobody could open one screen and see a lift’s contract, its last visit and what was still owed.
So the lift became the centre of the system. Contracts, visits, tickets, parts and invoices all link back to it.
Inside Octa One
Each lift gets a QR sticker. Scanning it opens a public page with the lift’s details, Octa’s helpline and a way to report a problem.

What we built
Leads from calls, WhatsApp and the website, site surveys, a step-by-step quotation builder with discount approval, and quotations as PDFs in Octa’s own layout.
Orders with payment milestones, then installation projects with stages, drawings for approval, snag lists, handover and a warranty contract.
AMC contracts with monthly visits and renewal reminders, breakdown tickets with response-time targets, a dispatch board and escalations.
An installable phone app in Hindi and English that works without signal: check-in with GPS and a selfie, checklists, photos, parts used, the customer’s signature and a service report.
Employees, certificates with expiry alerts, attendance, leave, stores, material requests, purchase orders and goods received.
GST invoices and receipts, dues and ageing, an export file for Tally, and dashboards for service and sales.
How we ran it
We wrote the specification with Octa first, then built one module at a time and demonstrated each before starting the next. Every module ships with automated tests, and each user only sees what their role allows.
Alongside the software we wrote training material so Octa’s office staff and technicians can learn it step by step.
